Joe Frazier

What can I say.... I have the most amazing job ever! I've had a couple of amazing opportunities the last couple of months - to photograph celebrities in DC and, more recently, in Philadelphia.

In September, I was asked to photograph Lynda Carter (you may know her as Wonder Woman) at a charity event for National Network to End Domestic Violence (NNEDV). The photoshoot was of Lynda with hand painted shoes by an artist from California, Latisha Wood. The shoes were auctioned off and proceeds were donated to NNEDV. Here are a couple from the shoot. And just last Saturday, I ventured to Philadelphia for a similar cause. Latisha Wood hand painted Everlast boxing boots for Joe Frazier to be auctioned off on the DC Fight Night web site. Joe and his manager. Les, were awesome and we had a great time doing this shoot. My daughter, Ashley, came along to assist and was a great help with lighting and carrying equipment. I had two sessions with Mackenzie. During the first session, we did a few portraits in the studio and then headed outside around downtown Frederick. The next was in Harpers Ferry and was one of my first "Trash the Prom Dress" sessions. We had a great time!

A Moment in Time

During my newborn casting calls, I had this idea to pose this adorable 4 day old baby next to a clock. The clock is set to the time of birth and the baby's name and birthday are "inscribed" on the face of the clock. And... this is the result! I love it and the baby's mom loved it. If you're passing by our studio, take a look in the window. Mike has transformed this portrait into a work of art with his custom framing.

Ashley is my 14 year old daughter. The top photograph was created in a tree in our front yard this past Fall. The photograph below was created in Niagara Falls in December 08. As you can see, she loves hats! And I love to photograph her!
